The Girl Who

She was sitting in a café, happy and content. Looking fondly at the man sitting in the speedboat in the distance. This was rare moment in their lives where they got to enjoy spending time together.

A loud bang fired. The man fell to his knees and slumped in the boat.  The girl stood up alarmed, instinctively wanting to move closer to the man. She knew better than that. She stayed in her position frozen then slipped into the shadows and ran.
